Huawei chips are mainly developed by HiSilicon, and there are five series: Kirin chips in the field of mobile phone consumer devices, Kunpeng chips in the field of servers, Shengteng chips in the field of artificial intelligence, Ba Long chips in the baseband field of 5G mobile phones and Lingxiao chips in the field of home routers. The following is a detailed introduction:
1. Hisilicon chips are applied to mobile terminal devices, including high-end chips such as Kirin 990, Kirin 980, Kirin 970 and Kirin 960. In addition to the high-end 9 series, Kirin also has 6 series, 7 series and 8 series of low-end series chips;
2. Kunpeng chip is mainly used in the server field. Kunpeng 920 chip is completely independently developed by Huawei. It is the world’s first 7nm data center ARM processor, which is mainly suitable for Huawei’s Taishan server.
3. Ascent chip is a processor for artificial intelligence field, adopting its own Da Vinci architecture. Ascent chip is divided into two series: high-end and low-end. The high-end is Ascent 910 and the low-end is Ascent 310. AI chip is one of the technical cores in the era of artificial intelligence.
4. Ba Long chip is HiSilicon’s baseband chip. At present, the latest one is Ba Long 5000, which supports 5G dual-mode. It is mainly used in Kirin 980 and Kirin 990, and Kirin 990 has also introduced a version integrating Ba Long 5000 baseband chip.
5. Lingxiao chip is mainly used in routers, among which Hi5651 chip is the industry’s first 4-core 1.4GHz home routing processing chip, and the built-in IPv6/v4 dual-stack hardware processing engine has obtained carrier-level certification; Support 256 connection nodes, and optimize the terminal location and interference through algorithm enhancement.
