Pidu District has successively built two new landscaping garbage disposal stations in Youai Town and Tangchang Town through enterprise investment and construction, which effectively promoted the resource utilization of landscaping garbage in our district.
The garbage station in Youai Town Garden Area covers an area of 150 mu and has a daily processing capacity of 55 tons. The garbage station in Tangyuan District of Tangchang Town covers an area of 70 mu and has a daily processing capacity of 45 tons.

The traditional disposal method of landscaping waste is mainly landfill, which is cleaned and collected by sanitation workers and transported to the garbage transfer station, which not only causes environmental pollution, but also wastes resources.
Nowadays, the construction and treatment mode of landscaping garbage disposal station has opened up a new way for the recycling of fallen leaves and dead branches. At the same time, the integration of local silt field resources and the production of organic fertilizer through bio-organic action not only solved the problem of landscaping garbage disposal, but also produced good ecological and economic benefits.
It is reported that since 2019, two landscaping waste disposal stations have handled more than 9,100 tons of landscaping waste. Among them, the processing capacity in 2019 was 2323.99 tons, in 2020 it was 1885.41 tons, in 2021 it was 2650.85 tons, and in 2022 it was 2261.78 tons.
By practicing the concept of green, recycling, low-carbon and intensive development, Pidu has established a perfect and efficient system of classified collection, transportation and disposal of landscaping waste, which has improved the comprehensive utilization efficiency of organic waste and promoted the construction of a beautiful and livable park city.

Landfill needs to occupy land, because the branches and leaves are not easy to compress, and the landscaping waste with the same weight is usually 5 to 7 times the volume of domestic waste, which is a great waste of land resources; Incineration also has some problems, such as difficult stacking, high transportation cost and large vehicle loss, which is not conducive to resource reuse.
At present, the country is making more and more efforts to control the environment, and the requirements for urban garbage classification are becoming more and more strict, so it is imperative to implement professional landscaping garbage disposal stations.
It is understood that the two landscaping garbage disposal stations in Pidu District have introduced main equipment such as branch crusher, dryer and dumper, which are divided into seven functional areas, including crushing, soaking and fermentation, and have production lines for garden organic nutritious soil products.
Through low-temperature detoxification and probiotic fermentation and ripening technology, garden greening garbage is used as earthworm bait, and earthworm reproduction is used as carrier to generate reusable nutrient soil, forming an ecological chain of "organic waste-pretreatment-earthworm degradation-earthworm and feces" disposal.
